Saints remain undefeated against Damien and go on to win DII Title

On Saturday, February 2nd, crowds of Saint Francis and Damien fans cheered exhuberantly in an exhilirating game between the boys basketball teams- both who were undefeated. Though loud shouts and cheerin, the Saints were able to overwhelm Damien with an 84-69 win and improved the standing to 8-0.


Senior, Keoni-Tom Millaire was the leading scorer with 22 points nad junior Matthew Nuumanaia finished with 15 points. The boys led the first quarter with a score of 23-17 and scored an average of 20 points in each subsequent quarters.

When asked on his thoughts about the game and his impressive perfomrance, Keoni-Tim Millaire said,  “I though I did good. As for our season, the team started off rough but we were able to bond.


Last night, the Saints hosted their last season game against UH Lab School in the new T.C Ching Athletic and Music Center. Fans crowded the gym and the Saint played with price, especially because of the fact that it was senior night. The Saints came up with the win in a close matching, finishing off with 46-41. With a 9-0 streak, the basketball team are the ILH DII champions and will go on to play for the championships. Go Saints!
